Valentine’s Day Rom-Com movies to stream: Where to watch

Now that Valentine’s Day is here, it’s time to break out the chocolate and get cozy with a good rom-com. Whether you are single or in a relationship, what better than a good movie to celebrate the day of love?!

While the kissing kiosk and To all the boys I’ve loved before The series might not be considered classic rom-coms, they’ve definitely become favorites over the years. Featuring Joey King and Jacob Elordithe kissing kiosk franchise told the story of best friends-turned-lovers Elle Evans and Noah Flynn. The first film premiered on the streaming service in May 2018 and spawned two sequels. The third and final film premiered in August 2021.

“It’s moving. It’s happy. It’s sad,” Joey said D-14 exclusively before the premiere of the final film. “I had an incredible journey with these films. I went through so much making them. It’s kind of surreal that it’s over, and it stirs a lot of emotions.

She continued: “When we finished, it was so sad. But also, we all had so much fun. I remember that last day, it was kind of crazy… sitting there and thinking, ‘D ‘Okay, this is the last scene as Elle.’ “

Just like the kissing kiosk series, there were three To all the boys I’ve loved before on Netflix. These three romantic comedies were based on a series of books of the same name by Jenny Han and starred Lana Condor and Noah Centineo as Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky, respectively. After Lara Jean’s past and current secret love letters are sent to their recipients, she and Peter pretend to be a couple before they truly fall in love. The films premiered on the streaming service from 2018 to 2021.

“I had the best day of my life working with my friends,” said Lana Self in February 2021 about his final days of filming. “And then my heart was also breaking at the same time, because I knew I was going to have to say goodbye to this character who did so much for me and who just changed my life, gave me these crazy opportunities, comes made me feel more connected to my community.
