Whether you’re planning something special or just want to have a fun night out with your partner, we’ve listed the top most searched theaters, seats and shows on Google* for a romantic night out with your partner this year.

Returning to theaters after launching on Valentine’s Day weekend in 2020, there’s a lot of hype around Pretty Woman: The Musical it’s our most sought-after “date” show. There is currently an impressive average of 8,800 people searching for tickets every month in the UK.

The stage production adds music by Bryan Adams and takes place at the Savoy Theater, located on the Strand, next to the historic Savoy Hotel. It’s the perfect place for a pre-theatre drink in the luxurious Beaufort Bar, or there are plenty of cozy and romantic restaurants for a couple’s dinner.

Mama Mia! Set on a beautiful Greek island and incorporating ABBA’s musical hits into its history, Mama Mia! is about a young bride-to-be who discovers that one of three men could be her father. She invites all three to her wedding (without telling her mother), with both hilarious and heartwarming consequences…

Mama Mia! was our second most searched date show with an average of 5,880 searches per month. It takes place at the Novello Theater with tickets available from £18.00.

& Juliet Imagine if there was life for Juliet after Romeo…

…well, in this modern revival we see Shakespeare’s tragedy reimagined with Juliet avoiding her fate, abandoning Romeo and setting off with her friends for Paris. Despite opening in 2019& Juliet makes the list of the ten best night shows. It ranks seventh and is searched an average of 1,510 times per month. On a pop soundtrack including “…Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears and “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys, & Juliet is playing at the Shaftesbury Theater from £24.60.

Although it has been in operation for over thirty years, The Phantom of the Opera is still our third most searched show on our favorites list, with an average of 5,550 people searching for its details each month.

Based on the novel by Gaston Leroux, the show follows the story of the masked musical genius – the Phantom – and the beautiful soprano Christine. When the young singer becomes the object of his affections, the Phantom will stop at nothing to possess her, even as she falls in love with a childhood friend, Viscount Raoul. Running at Her Majesty’s Theatre, tickets for this tale of jealousy, obsession and desire set to an incredible score are available from £26.80.

& JULIET celebrates its second anniversary in London’s West End

The stage adaptation of Baz Luhrmann’s iconic 2001 film Red Mill! Musical comedy is on view at the Piccadilly Theater until the 28thand from May 2022.

Bringing Parisian exoticism, jaw-dropping backdrops and heartbreaking romance to the West End, this show is guaranteed to have you singing a medley of pop hits. It also ranks fourth on our list of most searched nighttime shows, with 4,360 searches performed on average each month. Based on the classic ’80s film Dirty Dancing, the musical is the story of Frances “Baby” Houseman, whose life is turned upside down when she meets dance instructor Johnny Castle while vacationing with her parents. It is the sixth most searched show with an average of 1,850 searches per month.

In the infamous “I Carried a Watermelon” scene, Baby stumbles upon an unexpected all-night dance party in the staff quarters. She soon finds herself a new role as the partner of dance teacher Johnny – but what begins as onstage chemistry soon takes over in real life… Dirty Dancing the Musical is on view at the Dominion Theater with tickets to the show currently available from £23.80

To find the best prices for evening theater tickets, certified online sellers and ticketing platforms frequently offer discounts on seats that need to be filled. SeatPlan gathered the data by creating a shortlist of musicals that often show up when searching Google for keywords such as “romantic musicals” and “Valentine’s Day musicals”. He then used Google’s Keyword Planner to find out how often, on average, people search for tickets to every musical in the UK.
