Valentine’s Day season is in full swing and it’s the perfect time to think about how to celebrate. Not only does Olive & June have an extensive and ever-changing menu, it’s also a beautiful restaurant with amazing seating. They have a nice setup inside, as well as a third floor for seating and a wonderful patio outside. They offered a special four-course dinner for Valentine’s Day, but there are still some amazing options if you couldn’t make it on February 14. Their menu changes frequently and it never runs out of amazing choices. They currently have an assortment of entrees such as meatballs and a cheese platter; they also offer seafood, chicken, pasta and rotating desserts.
Juliette Italian Cuisine
Italian food is always excellent for a date, and Juliet’s never disappoints. The restaurant is so well designed, even divided into sections so it feels private and intimate. The Barton Springs location has a nice walkway to enter, and they give a more traditional Italian restaurant vibe. They have lots of choices for salads, starters and pastas such as spaghetti, seafood, pizzas and soups. This restaurant is ideal for a romantic evening if you fancy traditional Italian cuisine.
All day in June
Located on South Congress Avenue, June’s All Day is a great meeting place for any meal. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and have a full menu for each option. They have gluten-free cookies and tea cake from their bakery, and for breakfast they have items such as yogurt with granola, farm egg omelette, or scrambled eggs. For dinner they have delicious options such as steak, mussels or pasta bolognese. . This is a great restaurant for a date, with plenty of space to shop and hang out together nearby.
Located on South Lamar near Treadwell Street, Odd Duck is known for its incredible dishes. They have delicious staples like Wagyu steak, quail, and burgers, but they dress it up with ingredients like chilli, Fresno hot sauce, and queso fundido. Odd Duck is another pricier restaurant, but the elaborate menus and plentiful ingredients make it easy to see why. Date night is sure to be a hit with this place.
These restaurants are perfect for a Valentine’s night out or any other night you feel like going all out for a date. Although they are more expensive, they are perfect for a special occasion or a night when you want to treat yourself and your partner.
